Worn highway surfaces become slick in wet weather and contribute to many of the crashes that kill 40,000 people yearly. The Skidabrader has the remedy for slick pavement. Its bi-directional surface abrading process elevates wet weather safety to a new level. It promotes surface drainage and exposes new points of aggregate in the existing pavement to rupture the thin film of water left clinging to surface components. The Skidabrader can produce miles of finished surface each night under a rolling safety zone when traffic is at its lowest volume. Paint lines can be left in place if desired, and the surface is left clean and ready for traffic immediately.
